-Waiting On Wednesday [4]: Getting Revenge On Lauren Wood

Waiting On Wednesday originated from Jill (Breaking The Spine.)

I haven't done a WoW in forever!

I just found out about this book on YALit.com

Getting Revenge on Lauren Wood by Eileen Cook

Release date: 1/5/10

Summary from Amazon.com:
In the final weeks of eighth grade, Lauren Wood made a choice. She betrayed her best friend, Helen, in a manner so publicly humiliating that Helen had to move to a new town just to save face. Ditching Helen was worth it, though, because Lauren started high school as one of the It Girls--and now, at the start of her senior year, she's the cheerleading captain, the quarterback's girlfriend, and the undisputed queen bee. Lauren has everything she's ever wanted, and she has forgotten all about her ex-best friend.

But Helen could never forget Lauren. After three years of obsessing, she's moving back to her old town. She has a new name and a new look, but she hasn't dropped her old grudges. She has a detailed plan to bring down her former BFF by taking away everything that's ever been important to Lauren—starting with her boyfriend.

Watch out, Lauren Wood. Things are about to get bitchy.

I don't too much care for the title, it's not very creative...but the plot looks pretty snazzy huh? I like the colors and font on the cover, but it kind of resembles the Pretty Little Liars cover, with the yellow, the swirly font, + the doll. What do you think?

Leave me your Waiting On Wednesday link so I can add some of your choices to my TBR too!

Unfortunately that was the only kind of summary I was able to find on the internet. I started the Privilege series without realizing it was connected to the Private series, so now I'm trying to read Private and catch up. I loved Privilege and Beautiful Disaster & I'm enjoying Private so far...I absolutely cannot wait for this book. I couldn't put the first two down.

.

Cassie searches her past, her philosophy lessons, even her new boyfriend for answers, always careful to keep her secret. How does the mark work? Why her? Most importantly, if you know today is someone's last, should you tell? -goodreads.com
